In an epic night of YQB airport officials and Quebec City travel agents, Vacances Sunwing organized and brought together everyone in a beautiful event.  This event was to celebrate all the amazing new Sunwing travel destinations and routes departing from YQB - Quebec City this season. 

For the entertainment of the night, The Crooner himself, Founder and Chairman of the board of Sunwing travel group Colin Hunter, performed his classic Crooner songs, as well as his very popular "Come Fly With Me" rendition and brought the house down.

Alongside Colin's sultry vocals was the Jazz man, piano legend and his musical director Joe Sealy backed by his Quebec city trio. Colin delighted the room of travel agents, VIP guests  and airport officials to the sounds of the classic Crooner songs he is so well known for performing.

To much of a surprise, Colin was also gifted a priceless painting representing Quebec City to honour his unique vision and accomplishments.

The painting was donated to him by the YQB airport management as a tribute to Colin for all of his dedication in this market. Needless to say, Quebec City is one of the most important gateways for Sunwing operations in Canada.

A tribute video from Mr. Stéphane Poirier, President and CEO of Quebec City Airport, was projected in recognition of Mr. Hunter's undeniable support and vision since Sunwing's inaugural flight in December 2006. 

All in all the gala and evening of planned and surprise events was a tremendous success for all, including Sunwing, the YQB airport management, and Quebec City travel agents.

Once again passengers of YQB greatly benefit from being able to take off with Sunwing 737s from their own YQB airport and city's backyard to fly to the most spectacular vacation sun destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America.
