The Chairman of The Board Crooner Colin Hunter Offers a Show in  Saguenay Lac St-Jean and Signs the City's Gold Book

Montreal, Monday January 25, 2010 – The president crooner of Sunwing Travel Group was in Saguenay Lac St-Jean on January 22, 2010 at the Montagnais hotel for a special musical performance at the Bouffe pour UN Toît event where all the profits are donated to charity organizations.

The Bouffe pour UN Toît event consists of a 5 course meal sold at $100 per person and is organized by the world organization L’Aide Humani-Terre in order to raise funds for the underprivileged and to make a difference in children’s lives in the Dominican Republic, Cambodia as well Guatemala.

The set objectives with the accumulated funds are to supply 5 houses in the Dominican Republic and three in Cambodia. 

In front of a full room of 800 businesses, political and artistic dignitaries from the Saguenay Lac St-Jean region, Colin Hunter offered a remarkable musical performance with a song repertoire from his last four albums.

Mr. Hunter sold his autographed albums during the event and donated 50% of the generated revenues to the Haitian community and the other half to L’Aide Humani-Terre.

In October 2007, Colin Hunter had given as well a musical performance in the Saguenay Lac St-Jean region in front of thousands of spectators for the La Baie Hospital Foundation concert benefit.

During his visit in Saguenay last week, the mayor Mr. Jean Tremblay invited Mr. Hunter to sign the gold book of the region and to express their gratitude for the economic contribution provided by his company Sunwing Airlines since 2006 and his implication as a musical crooner for various humanitarian organizations and causes in  the region.
